VALPOLICELLA RIPASSO SUPERIORE DOC 2022

Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC 2022 by Scuderia Italia is an elegant and structured Italian red wine from Veneto, produced in the renowned Valpolicella area, in the hills of the province of Verona. This wine is obtained through the traditional “Ripasso” method, with a second fermentation and maceration of Valpolicella wine on the pomace of Amarone and Recioto, still rich in aromatic components and complexity.

After vinification, the Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC ages for 12 months in small French oak barrels, developing depth, balance and its distinctive character.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red colour. The bouquet is rich and expressive, with notes of ripe red fruit, berries, cherries and sour cherries, combined with elegant hints of spices, tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm and well-structured, with soft, perfectly integrated tannins and a long, harmonious finish.

This Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC 2022 pairs beautifully with roasted meats, braised dishes, boiled meats, game and aged cheeses.
